LA MISION
Urban Path is created as a result of the serious concern related to security, risks, dynamic hazards that citizens around the world must face in daily basis. Those threats mainly – but not exclusively - are materialize in urban areas. A city might be understood as a space of inequalities and clash of interest, in which the differences between the inhabitants are exponential in comparison to the rural world.
Those divergences empower human, economic and political conflict transforming the polarity into multispectral violence in order to - not only - survive but to conquer rival tribal groups. This unique ecosystem it is proportional to the entity and magnitude of the city itself. decreasing exponentially with the downsize of the urban area. While historically the spatial analysis of urban security had been approached from a single pole vision, this project has the mission to comprehend it from a holistic perspective not only to generate knowledge but to transfer it into tangible and applicable tools to reduce the harm and vulnerabilities that citizens suffer in their cotidianity.
In order to achieve the above mentioned, The mission of Urban Path can be define as “the permanent pursuit of analysis, comprehension and forecasting of the spatial security threats with the aim to provide the geodata mandatory to decrease, defeat and resolve them”
LOS OBJETIVOS
